It is not very often we take the time to show appreciation for the people who mean the most in our lives. Today I want to tell you how very much you mean to me. Sometimes in our fast paced days so many things go unsaid and so many people get taken for granted. I don't want that to happen with us. You are such an important person in my life~ one of the few people who cares so much and expects so little in return. I have always felt like I can count on you for anything and I would never be let down. You go out of your way to make my life happier and the little things you do mean so very much to me. You have such a big heart filled with so much kindness and love I feel so very lucky to know you and so very blessed to have you in my life Today I want to say Thank You~ for all that you do, for all that you are and for how wonderful my life is... because you are part of it. ~Elle Mastro |

In case you are wondering what pearlysim and i are talking abt in the tagboard, (haha) yes, im the Chairperson of the Singles' Club, whereas she is the Financial Controller. Ok, yes, it's a two-members club. But heyhey. only temporary eh. haha. Initially, we have *ahem. clear throats* gerger. However, we are happy to let her go and step down from the Vice-Chair position. hee. (Psst. Pearlydear, we need to think of our motto and our aim and values and etc etc. haha. ) "It's the heart afraid of breaking that never learns to dance. Haha =) I was reading MyPaper just now and i came across an article which i find it very very meaningful. The title is 'Don't adopt a 'pencil attitude''. Well, i wont blog the entire article, but i would like to share some beautiful phrases: "...At times, it seems so hard to move forward because we are so scared of what lies ahead..." "... ... When there are no more goals set by others to reach, or maps prepared by others to follow, some of us lose sight of what we want because we were simply not trained to think about what we really like to pursue in life. Isn't it wonderful to be able to think, choose and plan? So, why not indulge in this privilege? We can choose to use the black, red, blue, yellow,etc. colours of crayons topaint our canvas of life with circles, dots, stripes, patterns or other unique designs. We are the ones holding the crayons, and we can have colourful lives if we choose to. We know it cannot be with the use of a pencil because actions are not erasable, but that is where it is interesting. We all know the marks left behind by erased pencil makrings are ugly, so don't adopt the "pencil attitude". Don't have an eraser for "whatifs". If you like something, believe in it, choose it, plan for it, do it and make your portrait colourful. Many years from now, when we have flashbacks on our lives, hopefully we will see streams and streaks of exciting colours to call our own." -Bevlyn Khoo- Well well, think about this article yea? =) |
