It is not very often we take the time to show appreciation for the people who mean the most in our lives. Today I want to tell you how very much you mean to me. Sometimes in our fast paced days so many things go unsaid and so many people get taken for granted. I don't want that to happen with us. You are such an important person in my life~ one of the few people who cares so much and expects so little in return. I have always felt like I can count on you for anything and I would never be let down. You go out of your way to make my life happier and the little things you do mean so very much to me. You have such a big heart filled with so much kindness and love I feel so very lucky to know you and so very blessed to have you in my life Today I want to say Thank You~ for all that you do, for all that you are and for how wonderful my life is... because you are part of it. ~Elle Mastro |

Life is sad
today went dinner with yh. omg sooooooo long never see him le la! HAPPY BELATED 21st BIRTHDAY, YH!!!anyway, he loves to make people cry. and i almost cried in front of them. so smug horhor? tsk. but what he said is really true... one day, he went to his friend's wake, and another friend told him, "Life is sad. because people will only gather for you on this kind of occasion." It suddenly struck him. And when he told me that, it struck me hard, too. It is not just for friend's funeral; even for your dearest relatives or family members, it may be the same as well. How nan2 de2 it is to have everyone you know to get together? only this kind of occasion ba. it is like, for wedding or bday parties, yess, people will come, but not everyone. somehow, people will more obliged to turn up for funerals and not for joyous occasions. heh. That's why he decided to have a birthday party, a joyous occasion, and he feels really happy to see all his friends to get together; and he treasures his friends alot. I did not want anyone to celebrate my birthday, cux i feel it is very troublesome for them and i feel quite paiseh. That's why this year, i really really wanted to go overseas or disappear on my birthday for a looong time. But now, to think of it... if the same logic applies, does it mean that i dun want anyone to plan for my funeral as well? because it's troublesome? the worse is, it is a sad thing, not a joyous occasion like birthday. hmmx. gladyswong, please start to treasure what you have, and feel blessed to have them around you now. |
